The Department of Philosophy is organizing an event titled “Struggling the Epidemic from Spain to Istanbul: The Transmission of Knowledge in the 16th Century World in the Context of Ilyas b. Ibrahim's Plague Treatise”. The event, which will be moderated by Dr. Rıza Tevfik Kalyoncu, Faculty Member of our Department of Philosophy, and Yale University PhD Candidate Ahmet Tahir Nur will be the speaker, will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 14.00 at the Salis Madrasah Conference Hall on Süleymaniye Campus.
