Our Head of Philosophy Department Assoc. Prof. Enis Doko took part as a moderator in the “Philosophy Coffee” event organized with Yenidoğu Schools 11th grade students.
During the event, “Artificial Intelligence” was discussed as a philosophical problem over coffee. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Enis Doko, students had the opportunity to ask their questions about artificial intelligence and express their ideas freely by demonstrating their critical thinking skills.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Enis Doko encouraged students to justify their views, explore different perspectives and create an active discussion environment, and drew attention to the importance of philosophy for the individual and society.
The event not only developed students' critical thinking and active listening skills, but also enabled them to reflect on current and deep philosophical issues. This special event hosted by Yenidoğu Schools made a meaningful contribution to World Philosophy Day with its importance in the field of philosophy and critical thinking.
