Dr. Rıza Tevfik Kalyoncu's Article Titled 'Kalām In Terms Of al-Fārābī's Metaphysics Of Perfection' Was Published

Dr. Rıza Tevfik Kalyoncu's article titled "Kalām in terms of al-Fārābī's Metaphysics of Perfection", was published in Kader Journal of Theological Studies. The article, published in the June 2023 issue of the journal, examines the position of theology within the general structure of al-Fārābī's metaphysics. In the first part of the two-part article, Dr. Rıza Tevfik Kalyoncu focuses on the position of metaphysics within the framework of al-Fārābī's idea of perfection, while in the second part, he provides a close reading of al-Fārābī's "al-Ibāna ʿan ġarażi Arisṭoṭālīs fī kitābi mā baʿda al-ṭabīʿa" and analyzes al-Fārābī's approach to the theoreticality of the science of kalām within the theory of milla. 

The article evaluates al-Fārābī's views on the science of kalām from a different perspective, proposing a reading of al-Fārābī’s metaphysics as a metaphysics of perfection and at the same time clarifying the position of the science of kalām within al-Fārābī metaphysics.
